Mixed of individual and family sessions to address the unique challenges of our young ones
Welcome to our Child and Youth Therapy services. We create a safe space for young individuals to explore feelings and build coping skills. Our team empowers your child to reach their potential. At ABBA Center, we are dedicated to providing compassionate mental health treatment for children and adolescents aged 5 to 17. We understand that mental disorders can begin in childhood, leading to behavioral and emotional challenges that may hinder development. Our goal is to offer support and interventions that promote healing and resilience.
We prioritize understanding each child’s unique background and challenges through comprehensive interviews with both the youth and their parents during the intake evaluation. This crucial process helps clarify underlying behaviors, while also identifying strengths and weaknesses. Based on this assessment, we develop a tailored treatment plan that promotes well-being and supports growth. Our therapy sessions are designed to be engaging, incorporating parent involvement and various activities such as play, games, arts and crafts, and stories, along with tools for families to practice at home throughout the week.
